Who Are We?
We are among a few lucky Americans who can legitimately call themselves modern nomads. Our professions and interests take us all over the world and along the way we discover and collect little gems and curios that make each culture special. Presently, our path cuts through the heart of Kenya and Ethiopia and our "finds" are treasures bargained for in small shops with village artisans. We believe that our small purchases support local families quite directly. We also believe that we help make the world a little smaller each time we connect a local craftsman and his creation with a consumer abroad. Our business is not to be the biggest exporter with the flashiest marketing. Our business is about being a member of a community of responsible human beings who care for each other through fair trade.
